On April 4th 2017 the "New Ways into Teaching: Gemeinsam Zukunft bilden" event will take place in Vienna. This event is organized by the three Austrian project partners Teach For Austria, Vienna Board of Education and Federation of Austrian Industries in order to promote the NEWTT project. The keynote will be delivered by Marie Hamer (Institute for Teaching, UK) who will be speaking about new ways into teacher training. The entire event will be focusing on exploring different ways into teaching. On the 14th of January of 2017 more than 140 people gathered in Bilbao to share, debate and learn from education experts and Empieza por Educar participants' experiences.   On 19th and on 25th of January 2017, in San Sebastian and Bilbao respectively, 10 participants of the Basque pilot, had the chance to share with their colleagues of the Teachers Máster of Deusto University their experience in the innovative pathway in teacher training that the Basque Country is testing (one of our main collaborators). This experience offer Students and teachers of the Master the opportunity to have a first hand understanding of the benefits that a dual learning model has to become more effective teachers. The next 14th and 15th of February 2017, we will have the chance to organize a workshop in the Basque Public Universities Teacher´s Master.       
The Education Conference 2016 in Bulgaria will be held on 28th & 29th October by Teach For Bulgaria, with the support of the European Commission and the America for Bulgaria Foundation.. It will take place at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Sofia. This event will be gathering more than 800 guests - representatives of the government, schools, educational experts and leaders from the private and public sectors from Bulgaria and abroad - to consider how changes in the world around us must be reflected in classroom room and ways of teaching.
Teach For All and Teach For Bulgaria co-hosted Teach For All’s annual Global Conference in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, on October 25-27, 2016. Conference participants had the opportunity to explore the theme of “Reimagining Education” through dynamic workshops and discussions with a diverse array of leading thinkers, innovators, and students from around the world as well as from the local Bulgarian education community. Attendees were also able to discover NEWTT and ask questions to the partners involved.
Teach For Romania hosted the Conference ‘Our Impact in Education’ on 3rd of June 2016 which gathered over 340 participants and launched the Movement for Performance in Education. Teach For Romania is one of the 15 partners working together for Innovation in Education policy through the NEWTT project and this event was a good illustration of the determination, work and support that Teach For Romania and its national consortium partners have been putting into their common goal to transform education in Romania. The NEWTT project was also presented during the conference which found great success among attendees.
