Abby Huston

Abby Huston works as the Senior Director of Partner Engagement – Europe, overseeing all of the support and engagement with our partners in the region and supporting in the launch of new programs in the region. Abby started at Teach For All as the Partner Engagement Director for the Baltics where she supported the programs in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. She was formerly the Director of Arizona Teaching Fellows through The New Teacher Project, where she managed the recruitment, selection, training, and certification of over 150 new teachers in more than 12 high need districts throughout Arizona, including rural locations and Indian Reservations. She also has experience working with similar programs in California where she helped bring in over 500 new and certified teachers to teach in the highest need schools in Oakland. Before working for The New Teacher Project, Abby was a Peace Corps volunteer in Moldova for two years where she taught Health and Life Skills in a village school to students in grades 6-12 and trained teachers in order to sustain the curriculum. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy.
Abby represents Teach For All in the Steering Committee for NEWTT, contributing to the strategic decisions for the project.
